Channing Thornton

Channing D. Thornton is an Executive Vice President at Regions Bank, where he has worked since 1999. He leads the banks fair and inclusive lending initiatives across a 15-state footprint. He holds a BS in Business Management from the University of Florida and an MBA in Finance from St. Johns University.

Described as having a "passion for giving back, " Channing actively supports his community. He volunteers to teach financial literacy to underserved youth and serves on the board of the Florida College Access Network, helping create educational pathways for students to achieve financial prosperity and mobility.

After more than two decades with Regions Bank, he was promoted to a key executive role leading the companys fair and inclusive lending strategy.
