Chip Hunter is the Dean of Temple Universitys Fox School of Business, bringing extensive leadership experience from his prior role as dean at Washington State Universitys Carson College of Business. An award-winning scholar in human resources and industrial relations, he earned his PhD from MITs Sloan School of Management and his masters from Oxford University.
He and his wife, Julie, are thrilled to be returning to Philadelphia, where they met and where their two daughters were born and attended elementary school. He is eager to get to know the community again and build bridges between the university, its alumni, and the local business community.
He is a passionate advocate for public research universities and their role in social mobility.
