Chris Lavick

Chris Lavick is the Chief Operating Officer of Sarasota Jungle Gardens, where he upholds his familys multi-generational legacy. He focuses on creating authentic, intentional, and educational guest experiences centered on nature and animals. He has been instrumental in the parks recovery and operations, particularly after major weather events.

His personal and professional lives are deeply connected to the historic attraction, which his family has owned and operated since the 1970s. He is passionate about preserving this piece of "Old Florida" for the community and continuing the mission his grandfather envisioned.

Chris is a third-generation owner and operator of Sarasota Jungle Gardens, one of Florida’s original roadside attractions.
