Cid Torquato is a lawyer by training and a leading figure in Brazils technology and social impact sectors. As CEO of WSA Brasil and a coordinator at InovaUSP, he bridges digital innovation with public policy. His extensive career includes founding the Brazilian Chamber of Electronic Commerce and serving as Secretary for Persons with Disabilities.
After a 2007 diving accident left him quadriplegic, Cid became a prominent activist for disability rights. He channeled his experience into advocacy, authoring a book on entrepreneurship for people with disabilities. He is married with two children and is deeply rooted in his São Paulo community.
