Dan Padgett is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Auburn Universitys Harbert College of Business. He specializes in marketing strategy, pricing, and sales management, and holds a Ph. D. from Pennsylvania State University. He has extensive international experience, having trained marketing and sales managers in China and Ghana.
Outside of his primary academic duties, Dan directs the Harbert College of Businesss summer study abroad programs in Italy and Spain. He enjoys traveling internationally with his wife and three sons, who are all Auburn graduates, and typically spends three to four months abroad each year.
Before entering academia, he had a successful career in professional sales and now consults for companies on topics like sales compensation and marketing planning.
