Outside of his entrepreneurial ventures, David is a Trustee for the HowTheLightGetsIn philosophy and arts festival. He is an avid wild swimmer, known for swimming in the lakes around Berlin even during the winter, sometimes having to break through ice to do so.
On a drunken bet, he once successfully learned Finnish, one of the worlds hardest languages, in just one month.
