David Levy-Booth is the Director of Engineering at Dyno Therapeutics, where he spearheads the use of AI for designing next-generation gene therapies. He holds a PhD from The University of British Columbia and has over a decade of experience in Python, R, and building computational platforms for bioinformatics.
Outside of his main role, David is interested in the application of emerging AI tools for development and is a proponent of building up the Canadian tech talent pool, actively recruiting for his team from the Toronto area.
Unique fact: While at the University of British Columbia, he published seven peer-reviewed studies, four of which were as the first author.
