Outside of his corporate role, Detlef is deeply committed to community and industry mentorship. He serves on the boards of Apparo, which provides technology solutions to nonprofits, and CharlotteCIO, an advisory group for technology leaders. He actively participates in workforce development programs, hiring and mentoring students entering the IT field.
