He has a PhD in Financial Management and is leading a strategic transformation at the LIA focused on enhancing governance, transparency, and accountability in line with international standards.

His professional interests include major global firms in consulting, energy, and finance, such as Deloitte, bp, and Eni, alongside an interest in the United Nations. His background includes significant academic leadership roles as a dean and department head at leading Libyan universities, blending practical finance with theoretical expertise.

He is leading the transformation of Libyas sovereign wealth fund to align with the Santiago Principles, a key international benchmark for governance.
