Elise Kolsters

Elise Kolsters is a highly experienced teacher of classical languages with over 25 years of experience at Insula College before joining Stedelijk Dalton Lyceum in 2023. A graduate of Leiden University, she is also a specialist in student support, having served as a dyslexia coach for eight years and a mentor for nearly two decades.

Beyond her teaching career, Elise is the owner of Atelier Stiksels, a creative business focused on textile arts, located in Dordrecht. Her interest in the General Education Union (AOb) also signals a strong commitment to the teaching profession and the welfare of fellow educators.

Alongside her full-time role as an educator, Elise runs her own creative enterprise, Atelier Stiksels (“Stitches Workshop”).
