Emanuele Trucco is the Professor of Computational Vision at the University of Dundee and the Co-founder of Eye to the Future Ltd. A graduate of the University of Genoa, he is an expert in retinal image analysis, leading the VAMPIRE research initiative to develop software for early disease detection.
Beyond his scientific career, Emanuele has a keen interest in music and art. He is an active musician who plays guitar, bass, and bagpipes in rock and folk bands, having performed at international festivals. He has also published cartoons and co-authored a book of Italian limericks.
