His Italian heritage inspired the companys name, Boka, which is a play on "bocca, " the Italian word for mouth. He recently spearheaded a £2 million investment to open a dedicated, nut-free factory in Winchester, Hampshire to control production quality and expand innovation.
After his co-packer ceased trading, he personally led the effort to build his own SALSA-approved factory in just seven months, a project he described as a "real labour of love. "
