Gary Smith

Gary Smith is a co-founder and the Technical Director at Charpak Ltd, a company he established with his brother Paul in 1986. He leads the companys efforts in designing and manufacturing innovative thermoformed packaging, ensuring all products meet stringent quality, client, and legislative standards. His expertise has been pivotal in achieving BRC/IoP technical standards.

Outside of his extensive career in packaging engineering, Gary has an appreciation for high-performance engineering and has attended events like the Formula One British Grand Prix. He is also committed to community engagement and education, participating in local events to help the public better understand recycling and plastic use.
