Glenn Kraynie is a retired manufacturing executive, formerly the Vice President for Covestros South Charleston plant. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, he led major operational investments, including an $11 million expansion and the production of key polyurethane raw materials for the automotive, coatings, and adhesives industries.
Outside of his professional life, Glenn is an avid fisherman and appears to be a long-standing, active member of his local church community. He values his relationships with former colleagues, maintaining connections after retirement.
His plant was the first in the world to commercially produce polyols from sustainable castor bean oil under his leadership.
