Guy Akasaki is the President and CEO of multiple businesses in Hawaii, including Commercial Roofing & Waterproofing and Green Path Technologies, focusing on renewable energy. He is a hands-on leader who has navigated various economic cycles by diversifying his companies into multiple markets, including military contracts and building-integrated photovoltaics.

Initially aspiring to be an architect, Guy transitioned into business and developed a passion for surfing after working a graveyard shift that allowed him to surf every morning. He is married with two daughters and serves on the board of Grace Bible Church Pearlside, reflecting his community and family focus.

He once started a business with just a couple of broken-down trucks and a small storage unit, growing it into an award-winning enterprise.
