Hanchen Huang is the Dean of the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology at Oklahoma State University, where he also holds an endowed chair. His extensive leadership career includes serving as a provost, dean, and department chair at five other R1 and R2 universities. He earned his PhD in Nuclear Engineering from UCLA and is a recognized leader in growing enrollment and research funding.
He is a Fellow of four professional societies: the American Association for the Advancement of Sciences, American Society for Materials International (ASM), American Society of Mechanical Engineers International, and the Society of Engineering Sciences. He also serves on the ASM Board of Trustees.
