Helen is an award-winning environmental leader, currently serving as a Climate Change and Resilience Lead at Blacktown City Council. She holds a PhD in environmental studies from the University of Western Sydney and was recently awarded the Louise Petchell Memorial Award for Individual Sustainability for her innovative work in climate change response.
Beyond her professional work, Helen is a passionate writer and volunteer President for the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association of Australia (CMTAA). She is a dedicated advocate for people with the neuromuscular condition, overseeing projects and guiding the national committee to support the community.
