After beginning as one of the first five employees in Wipros IT division, he co-founded Mindtree and now serves as the Founder and Chairman of Nuvepro Technologies, a cloud management products company. He holds an M. Tech from IIT Madras.
Beyond his corporate roles, Janakiraman is deeply involved in fostering industry growth. He is the current President of the Indo-Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Karnataka) and was a founder and chairman of the India Semiconductor Association. A recent article also revealed his childhood passion for chemistry, which he explored through home experiments.
Unique fact: He was one of the pioneering employees who helped establish Wipros IT business from its inception.
