He is also the President of P3Global and an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania. He holds a PhD in Building Performance and Diagnostics from Carnegie Mellon University and previously led global research at Delos Labs.
Growing up in China, his first introduction to American culture was not from books or movies, but from playing the video game Grand Theft Auto. This experience provided him with a unique and unconventional early perspective on life in the United States before he moved to the country for his studies and career.
He received his very first entrepreneurship grant of $30,000 while at Carnegie Mellon University to commercialize a research idea.
