Jim Alman is a highly experienced aerospace engineering leader, retiring as the V. P. of Engineering at Cirrus Aircraft. An alumnus of Boston University, he held a long-standing FAA DER certification in Structures for three decades and has a background that spans from human-powered aircraft to unmanned aerial systems.
Outside of his distinguished career, Jim is a passionate pilot with multi-engine and instrument ratings, a sailor, and a boatbuilder. He is a proud husband and father, celebrating a family legacy of three generations of engineers and pilots, including his father and two sons.
