As President and COO of Goldman Sachs, John Waldron directs the firms global operations, strategy, and risk management. A veteran of the firm since 2000, he advises top CEOs and governments on M&A and navigating market shocks. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Middlebury College.
Outside of finance, John is committed to philanthropy and the arts. He serves on the boards of the Cleveland Clinic and the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, and is a trustee for his alma mater, Middlebury College. He is described as a family-oriented person with six children.
