Joshua Boger
Login to view DISC.Dr. Joshua Boger is a renowned biotechnology leader who founded Vertex Pharmaceuticals, pioneering structure-based drug design. Holding a Ph. D. from Harvard, he now chairs the boards of Alkeus Pharmaceuticals and CervoMed, focusing on treatments for rare eye diseases and neurodegenerative conditions. He has authored over 50 scientific publications and holds 32 U. S. patents.
Beyond his scientific career, Dr. Boger is a passionate and accomplished photographer, specializing in underwater macro photography, and has held multiple gallery shows. He and his wife, a ceramic artist, are active philanthropists, supporting arts, science education, and social justice causes. He also enjoys scuba diving and is a supporter of the Boston Red Sox.
