Julie Wedzinga is the Manager of Environmental Affairs at Stelco, bringing extensive experience in chemical and environmental engineering from her time at ArcelorMittal Dofasco and US Steel. A Professional Engineer and Fellow of Engineers Canada, she is a graduate of McMaster University and an active volunteer with Professional Engineers Ontario, championing initiatives to support women in STEM.
Outside of her professional role, Julie is deeply committed to community service. She has served as a Director for Halton Womens Place, a shelter dedicated to ending violence against women, and participates in local charity events like the Around the Bay Road Race with her colleagues from Stelco. She is a recognized leader in her community.
