Justin Portes

Justin Portes is a Senior Vice President in Credit Research at PIMCO, leveraging his extensive background in high-yield and distressed credit. His career includes analyst roles at CQS and Aristeia Capital, with foundational experience in leveraged finance at Macquarie Group. He holds a BA from Boston College.

While a student at Boston College, Justin was actively involved in student government, running for vice president of the Undergraduate Government of Boston College (UGBC). His campaign platform emphasized the importance of student formation and peer mentoring to help younger students get involved on campus.
