Kate Baxter is a Senior Manager of Renewable Origination at Walmart, focusing on the origination and financial structuring of clean energy projects to support the companys sustainability goals. Her background includes roles in energy and consulting at BNP Paribas, built upon a History and Political Science degree from Duke University.
While at Duke, Kate was highly engaged in campus life, participating in the American Grand Strategy program, serving as a tour guide, and belonging to the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She was also a member of a Bass Connections team researching retrospective regulatory review, showcasing an early interest in policy analysis.
She played a key role in launching Walmarts first-ever investment in community solar, a 20MW portfolio across Illinois and New York.
