Keith Berend is a distinguished orthopedic surgeon and partner at JIS Orthopedics, where he has practiced for over 20 years. He also serves as the Chief Medical Development Officer for OrthoAlliance. A Duke University Medical School alumnus, he is a member of the prestigious Knee Society and Hip Society and has authored over 250 scholarly articles.
Outside of his practice, Keith is a dedicated philanthropist, having co-founded Team Hope In Motion, a non-profit providing free surgeries in Guatemala. He is also a devoted husband, father to two daughters, and an avid endurance athlete who participates in demanding cycling and swimming events to raise money for his charitable organization.
He has performed more Oxford partial knee replacements than any other surgeon in the world.
