Lauren is a product and platform leader with a passion for transforming how the public sector builds software. Currently with the Maryland Digital Service, she has held director-level roles at VMware Tanzu and Pivotal Labs, focusing on government clients. People who have worked with her describe her as a team player with a terrific attitude.
Outside of her primary roles, Lauren is passionate about building diverse teams and better products. She has engaged in the tech community as a speaker, mentor, and co-founder of Hackn Jill, which organized hackathons with balanced gender ratios. Her interests include rock climbing, running relay races, and cooking for friends.
In 2015, she relocated to Washington D. C. specifically to help build out Pivotal Labs federal practice from the ground up.
