A former 20-year Partner at Goldman Sachs, Lisa is now a growth company advisor and board director for multiple firms, including Lord, Abbett & Co. and PENNYMAC. She co-founded Extraordinary Women on Boards, a global network for women directors, and graduated with an MBA and a BA, summa cum laude, from Harvard University.
Lisas passion for Japan began at age 15 during a homestay in Yokohama. This experience shaped her perspective and led her to major in East Asian Studies. She is passionate about mentoring, building communities, and is deeply inspired by her sons.
Unique fact: For her Harvard honors thesis, she wrote about Japanese salaryman culture as depicted in yon-koma manga (four-panel comics).
