Logan is the co-founder of the SeaPeople app and the Young Cruisers Association, both created to connect the global sailing community. A licensed U. S. Coast Guard Captain with a business degree from UNC Chapel Hill, he previously owned and operated a New York City sailing school for over a decade with his wife.

An avid mariner, Logan restored and lived on his first sailboat by age 18. His passion for the water extends to extensive cruising, competitive sailing, surfing, and cycling, which he competed in while at university. He met his wife, Caroline, as president of the UNC sailing club.

He has sailed tens of thousands of miles, including three transits of the Panama Canal.
