Loretta Piscatella is a dedicated non-profit leader with over 20 years of experience in the literacy field. As President of the Board at Literacy Suffolk, she draws on her extensive background as a retired Adult Services Librarian from Middle Country Public Library. She holds a Masters in Library Science from Long Island University.
Outside of her professional commitments, Loretta is an avid traveler, enjoying trips with her husband to various destinations. She also organized a 9-day group tour to Prague, Budapest, and Vienna, inspired by the book "The Lost Wife, " combining her passions for literature and cultural exploration.
She has been involved with Literacy Suffolk for over two decades, starting as a tutor before joining the board and eventually becoming president.
