Madeline Pumariega

Her career spans leadership roles including Chancellor of the Florida College System and President of Take Stock in Children. She earned her Master of Education from Florida Atlantic University and began her own academic journey at MDC.
Deeply influenced by her familys immigrant story and her mothers career as a teacher, Pumariega is passionate about community and giving back. A former college basketball player and coach, she values teamwork and perseverance. She is the proud mother of one daughter and enjoys all of Floridas beaches, from Miami to Destin.
