Dr. Marcella Lingham is the long-serving CEO of Quality Community Health Care, Inc. , a role she has held since 1986. Her career began in education as a teacher and curriculum developer before she transitioned to healthcare leadership, leveraging her Doctor of Education from Rutgers University to oversee five nonprofit health facilities in Northern Philadelphia.
Dr. Lingham is actively involved in her community and has served on the board for Black Family Services. She is a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. , a historically Black sorority dedicated to sisterhood and service. She also supports numerous professional associations related to public health and education.
She originally became involved in healthcare as a board member and parent group educator for the center she now leads.
