Margarita Antonio

Educated at Ateneo de Manila University and the University of Melbourne, she has managed multi-billion dollar health projects for the Philippine Department of Health and worked as a Hospital Administrator at The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
She is passionate about global development and mental health advocacy. Margarita was one of two representatives from the Philippines chosen for the Global Development Leadership Series. Her interest in community well-being is further demonstrated by a project she developed to bring mental health first-aid training to underserved communities.
She was the sole South-east Asian finalist in the global 2019 Impact Challenge for her mental health initiative.
