Mark Girolami
Login to view DISC.Mark Girolami is the Chief Scientist at The Alan Turing Institute and the Sir Kirby Laing Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Cambridge. With a PhD and a decade of experience as a Chartered Engineer at IBM, he is a global research leader in data science, statistics, and machine learning applied to engineering.
Outside of his academic and research roles, Mark is an avid cyclist and a connoisseur of fine dining, having visited all Michelin 2 and 3-star restaurants in the British Isles. He is also a caregiver to three cats.
He is an elected fellow of both the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
