With a background in F1 engineering at McLaren and Mercedes, he has led highly demanding technical programmes. He holds both a Bachelors and Masters degree in engineering from the University of Bath.
Outside of work, Mark is a passionate historic motorsport racer, a hobby he has pursued since he was 13 years old. He recently competed in the Ken Miles Cup at Goodwood driving a Ford Mustang, and has a stated fondness for American vehicles. He also has a team of coaches who help him improve his racecraft.
He was awarded an MBE for leading a critical part of the UKs Ventilator Challenge, producing over 11, 000 ventilators in 12 weeks during the pandemic.
