Mayur is a driven Clinical Engineering MTech student at IIT Madras with a background in Biotechnology from PES University. He has practical experience from internships at IISc and Biocon Biologics and recently won an award at IIT Madrass Shaastra festival for a MedTech innovation.
He is a United Nations Millennium Fellow, leading a project called "Med-Innovate." This initiative reflects his passion for making healthcare more accessible and affordable by empowering local communities to develop their own frugal medical solutions. He is also interested in companies like GE HealthCare and Deloitte.
His teams project, which focused on a unique bio-inspired idea for endoscopy visualization, won at the BIONICS event at Shaastra, IIT Madras.
