Melissa Shelton, MHA, BSN, RN, CNOR, CSSM

Melissa Shelton is the Administrative Director of Ambulatory Perioperative Services at CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System. With a Masters in Healthcare Administration and a background as Director of Surgical Services at UT Health East Texas, she has extensive leadership experience in clinical operations.

She is a supportive leader who publicly celebrates her colleagues work. Melissa actively fosters a positive environment by recognizing and expressing gratitude for her teams commitment to excellence, as shown in her celebration of National Surgical Technologist Week.

Melissa holds multiple advanced certifications, including CNOR (Certified Nurse, Operating Room) and CSSM (Certified Surgical Services Manager).
