Melody Cooper is a dynamic leader and social activist with extensive experience in sports administration, currently serving as Executive Director at Thoegayn Zugub and Regional Development Manager for Commonwealth Sport. A Bachelor of Psychology graduate, she applies her commercial acumen and passion for team building to achieve exceptional results in community-focused and high-performance environments.
Outside of her professional roles, Melody is a dedicated humanitarian who champions social change and equality, particularly for women in sport. She is an Ambassador for the Marjorie Jackson-Nelson Centre for Women’s Sport and actively participates in fundraising for mental health initiatives like Beyond Blue.
An Olympian, she represented New Zealands field hockey team, the Black Sticks, at the 2012 London Olympic Games.
