Michael Linford

Michael Linford is the Chief Operating Officer at Affirm, leveraging an extensive background in finance from his time as the companys CFO and in leadership at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise. He applies an engineering-based approach to problem-solving, holding a BS in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.

Alongside his wife Erika, Michael is a dedicated philanthropist, having established a significant scholarship program at his alma mater to support engineering students from low-income families. He also publicly expresses deep respect for the leadership, integrity, and service of military veterans.

He and his wife founded the Linford Scholars program to remove financial barriers for engineering students.
