Michael Meese is the President of AAFMAA and a retired U. S. Army Brigadier General with a PhD from Princeton. His distinguished career spans leadership in the military, non-profit financial services, and academia, including as a department head at West Point. He was recently elected Rector of George Mason Universitys Board of Visitors.
Outside of his professional life, Michael is a dedicated family man with a wife, three married children, and nine grandchildren.
