An alumnus of Texas Christian University, he now gives back as an Adjunct Professor and Executive in Residence, teaching franchising and mentoring students.
Born to entrepreneurial parents who ran a laundromat and worked on a dairy farm, Michael has a deep-rooted work ethic. He is passionate about philanthropy through the Unleashed Brands Foundation, which supports at-risk youth and childhood cancer research. He also played semi-pro hockey during his freshman year at TCU.
Unique fact: Michael is an inventor who holds several U. S. patents for innovative amusement park attractions, including an "Indoor Zip Coaster with Stations. "
