Mike Malandro is the President and CEO of Choptank Electric Cooperative and its subsidiary, Choptank Fiber. A licensed Professional Engineer with a B. S. in Electrical Engineering from West Virginia University, he has extensive experience leading electric cooperatives and spearheading innovative, nationally recognized rural broadband projects.
Outside of his executive role, Mike is a U. S. Army and West Virginia National Guard veteran who served in Bosnia. He attributes his success and leadership style to the discipline learned in the military, which also helped him persevere through personal challenges. He is also a proud father.
