Nalin Moniz
Enigma · DISC type cdiNalin Moniz is the CEO of Ionic Asset Management and a pioneer in Indias alternative asset management industry. A graduate of The Wharton School and a CFA charterholder, his career includes portfolio management at Goldman Sachs before co-founding Forefront Capital Management, which was later acquired by Edelweiss.
He is a marathon enthusiast, having run races in Amsterdam and Berlin. He co-founded his first firm with his wife, Radhika Gupta, after they both decided to leave their careers in the US to pursue their entrepreneurial ambitions in India. People describe him as down to earth and curious.
In 2009, he and his wife voluntarily gave up their H1-B visas and path to a US Green Card because they believed in India’s long-term potential.
