With over 20 years of experience and a Masters from the University of Leeds, he has a strong track record of leading strategic transformation and improving outcomes for communities in and around Oldham.
Paul is deeply committed to his community, demonstrated through his extensive voluntary board roles. He serves as Chair of the Greater Manchester Resettlement Consortium and is the Safeguarding Lead Trustee at Mahdlo Youth Zone, actively working to create safe, inclusive environments for young people.
His own experience of leaving school with no formal qualifications before re-entering further education fuels his passion for creating opportunities for disadvantaged young people.
