Rich Brophy

Rich is the Head of Design at blueegg, where he leads a team of researchers and designers focused on evidence-based design. A graduate of Curtin University, he previously co-founded a legal design studio and led service design for the NSW Government. Colleagues describe him as a strategic and empathetic leader.

Outside of his digital design work, Rich has direct experience with physical product innovation. He is an entrepreneur at heart, having designed, manufactured, and marketed his own consumer product. He also follows developments in AI, strategy frameworks, and has an interest in sports media.

He once launched a quirky product called Släppas—a hybrid flip-flop with a built-in wallet to hold cards and cash.
