Rose Yazzie is a Library Technology Coach for Granite School District, with a Masters degree from the University of Utah. She is passionate about fostering student voice and creativity through makerspace activities, instructional technology, and collaborative library experiences that spark curiosity and engagement.
Deeply involved in her community, Rose serves as a cultural educator and mentor at the Urban Indian Center of Salt Lake. She runs a book club for Native youth focusing on indigenous authors and leads cultural workshops. Personally, she loves to read dystopian books.
As a "Dreamstarter Teacher, " she received a grant to help indigenous students build their own libraries with culturally relevant books.
