Sam Hix

Sam Hix is a Partner at Deloitte Tax LLP in Houston, specializing in the energy sector. He provides tax guidance to a range of entities, from large corporations to private equity-backed partnerships. He holds a Masters degree from the University of Mississippi.

Outside of his professional role, Sam is deeply committed to environmental conservation. He serves in leadership roles, including Immediate Past Chairman and Treasurer, on the Board of Directors for the Coastal Prairie Conservancy, an organization dedicated to preserving vital lands and wildlife habitats in Texas.
