Sanjana Ashwin

Sanjana Ashwin is an entrepreneur with deep roots in the luxury goods industry, stemming from her familys multi-generational business, Dar Jewellery. As the Founder of J Pencil and former leader at Tarangarts, she focuses on empowering Indian artisans by bringing their work to digital platforms. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from PSG College of Arts and Science.

She is passionate about preserving Indian culture and creating opportunities for traditional artists to thrive in the modern marketplace. A key motivation behind her work is to inspire and empower a new generation of women entrepreneurs in India, aiming to change societal perspectives on women in business.

As a fourth-generation member of a 90-year-old family jewelry business, she founded her latest venture to help struggling artisans succeed online.
