Scott Gawel

Scott Gawel is the Corporate Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at Intel Corporation. A Certified Public Accountant, he has extensive leadership experience in corporate finance, previously serving as Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller at Oracle. He earned his B. S. in Economics and Accounting from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.

Outside of his professional life, Scott is family-oriented, often mentioning his wife Julia and mother Janice. He enjoys visiting local oceans, lakes, and rivers with his family and is passionate about nature and environmental stewardship, actively participating in community clean-up events.

He and his family participate in the annual California Coastal Cleanup, volunteering alongside local middle school students to reduce marine debris.
