Serena Pei

Serena Pei is a computer science student and researcher at MITs Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL). She specializes in machine learning with applications in computer vision and NLP, and has industry experience as a software development engineer at Amazon. She also holds certifications in Generative AI.

Passionate about social impact, Serena has volunteered as a Director of Public Relations for Engage STEM, an organization providing free tutoring and resources to low-income students. She is interested in the relationship between computer science and social ethics, aiming to make STEM education more accessible.

Serena is a recipient of the Daily Point of Light Award for her volunteerism and commitment to improving education for underserved students.
